Denmark “Styx River” Ride

The Denmark (Styx River) Endurance ride was well enjoyed by those who made the journey to the beautiful surrounds of the Denmark/Parryville area.
Thank you very much to Sarah Norrish and her team of helpers for hosting the ride. Congratulations to Donna McKee and Tora Mariah for elevating and successfully completing the 100km event, receiving Best Conditioned as well.
Other special mentions to Jess Zuideveld, partnered with Tango, for the 41km Best Managed award and Caroline Rice, partnered with Eminance Park Brydie for the 20km Best Managed award.
Finally a big congratulations to Mya Richardson for completing her first 20km ride!

Collie Catch

The Collie Catch 120km elevator ride delivered the best of all the Collie Ride Base has to offer! Brand new, level and sandy vet ring, a cheerful fire, and a fresh, but not TOO cold night of riding. With 43 entrants in the ride, it was a well subscribed event, especially after the cancellation of the Dwellingup ride due to poor weather conditions, two weeks prior. Of the 11 rider nominees in the 120km elevated ride, there was only one rider who chose to elevate the whole distance, which was Alistair McKeown riding Roswa Park Monarch for a total ride time of 13hrs50minutes. Congratulations to Alistair, who also achieved Heavyweight BC with his completion. Congratulations also to Mick Leach riding Sundale Sierra and achieving his Endurance Rider qualification status.
